Overview
Inertia is a custom-built physics engine designed to handle complex simulations ranging from general macroscopic physics to astronomy and robust quantum mechanics.
Development Journey
- July 2025 (Initial Overview): The engine started with a basic OpenGL (Ogl) rendering pipeline, establishing the core loop and general macroscopic physics solver.
- August 2025 (Enhanced UI): Focused on overhauling the user interface to make parameter tweaking and visualization much more intuitive for complex simulations.
- November 2025 (Quantum Mechanics): The engine was significantly expanded to include robust quantum mechanics simulations, allowing for real-time visualization of wavefunctions and quantum phenomena alongside standard classical mechanics.
